THE EXPERIENCE

Bright storefronts. Passing headlights. Crowded crossings. Quiet side streets.

Tokyo changes completely after dark — and Hirofumi uses the city itself as part of every photograph.

During this one or two hour session, you'll explore a selection of locations chosen for their light, atmosphere and character. Rather than simply posing in front of famous landmarks, Hirofumi works with the environment around you — using available light, flash, movement and the energy of the streets to create images with a distinctly cinematic feel.

No modeling experience is necessary. Hirofumi will guide you throughout the session while leaving enough space for spontaneous moments to happen naturally.

The Flow

01

MEET + EXPLORE

Meet Hirofumi and begin exploring the neighborhood together. He'll lead you toward locations that work with the night's light, crowds and atmosphere while giving you simple direction whenever needed.

02

SHOOT + DISCOVER

Rather than staying in one place, the session unfolds through the streets. Different backgrounds, lighting and unexpected moments give the final gallery the feeling of a short visual story rather than a collection of identical portraits.
