an idea that turned into a community

Back in February 2022, it started with the idea of sending out a call to the local creative community here in Tokyo to get together for a weekly meetup with the idea to collaborate and create. The concept was simple. We would start at Shibuya Station on the main JR Yamanote Train Loop Line which circles greater Tokyo and each week work our way around at a different station. No matter the conditions or environment, models, photographers and videographers not only came but collaborated on producing some truly inspiring works. With a solid foundation of over 350 members and climbing and a very active and supportive group forum where our works are shared amongst each other, Tekumi Tokyo CREATIVES + MODELS Weekly Photowalk is quickly becoming the go-to for creatives to network, connect and make friends in Tokyo.
