THE EXPERIENCE

Shibuya is one of Tokyo’s most visually charged neighborhoods — bright screens, crowded crossings, narrow side streets, layered architecture and pockets of unexpected light.

This session takes a more expressive approach to portraiture, using fisheye distortion, direct flash, bold color and unconventional framing to create images with a distinctly editorial feel.

Rather than simply placing you in front of familiar landmarks, the shoot moves between Shibuya’s iconic streets and less obvious corners — creating a mix of natural portraits, wider environmental images and more experimental shots along the way.
